It has definitely been a long time since I've written or had time to be on DA. I probably really don't have much time still BUT I have a new laptop now WITH photoshop on it and my wacom, so maybe I'll get some time to create.

Nothing much new here - life goes on the same from month to month. We are doing a little better financially, as I finally caught up with some bills. Physically, I am still very sick - some days are ok and I'm able to feel some small bits of happiness, other days I feel so sick that it is a struggle just to get through to the night when I fall into blessed oblivion in sleep. I have to say - menopause is a bioootch! The hot flashes make me want to run naked through the house - then I get so cold 20 min. later I'm under full blankets. My kids think I'm absolutely nuts. LOL! I really hope it goes away soon - am research some homeopathic remedies that might help, as I still cannot afford a doctor and still don't have medical insurance. Hopefully Obama can remedy this sometime in the near future.

Am still working full-time and grateful each and every day for my job, which I love. Our town is like 6th in the nation in unemployment rates, so definitely is a treasure to be employed. I started playing FFXI again - new character - same addiction. It is fun, but no desire to be totally immersed again.

I know I have missed SO many of your beautiful artworks in the past few months. I thank everyone who has Faved my works and I hope to be able to provide you with something new soon.

I wanted to wish everyone a personal Happy Thanksgiving. Today, I have so much to be grateful for. All three of my sons are here - sometimes a rarity these days. With my middle son leaving for Kuwait in May, this is especially important to me to treasure this time with all three of them.

With the economy in a decline and so many pressing bills, all who want their money THIS MONTH, I've faced many shut-off notices and whatnot. Food - has been non-existent for us and it has been heartrending and extremely depressing to watch your child go hungry. Thanks to a generous co-worker and some money my middle son saved from tips, we have food for Thanksgiving. So today we will dine and know that we will be eating well.

I am grateful I still have my apartment for now and that we still have all our utilities turned on. I am grateful that the judge granted us the use of a tiny bit of funds from my son's CD account to pay off some bills and have food for next month, bless his heart. I am grateful today that I have my medications for this month, however long that may last. And I am truly grateful to have had a vacation to see my terminally ill father, and my ill mother - and to be able to spend some quality time with them. I am grateful for my talents, even though I am not using them a great deal at the moment. And I'm grateful for the hope that things will get better, for all the prayers, and for the Lord's will that we are not starving today.

Hello my friends!! I miss you all! I apologize for not being around more - just haven't had the time. With the holidays coming around - orders for beaded bookmarks (my special this year) are coming in and I'm madly beading my little heart out trying to keep up!

Here's some samples - I have a ton of them done - I just can't show them here because they are gifts...





My middle son and I are hooked on LOST. I never got to see it when it originally aired because I was addicted to playing FFXI. So now that I'm playing WOW and only play once in awhile - my son and I have been watching the entire series on DVD. SO GOOD!

Work is still busy busy busy! Thankfully, I am almost ready to go on vacation for 2 whole weeks off! Whoot!! I leave on the 6th for California to see my dad for 5 days, then my mom for 3. My dad paid for me to have a sleeper car on the train, since it is difficult for me to sit upright. Really can't wait!

I want to give a HUGE thank you so three very special people who bought me subs!

Thank you so much guys - I think I would be gone if if weren't for you.

As soon as I get my website redone - and who knows how long that will take, I hope to be creating some new art again! I miss it so much - my tablet just stares at me forlornly!

Well I have 21 days of my SUB left, and honestly, I couldn't afford another sub if I begged and pleaded for one. My bank is so overdrawn I'll be trying to pay it back until 2030!

I truly do DA and I will be sad to lose my sub. I've been wondering if I should even bother returning - I haven't created anything in awhile and with all the drama going on with the under 18 mature stuff - I just don't know what to do anymore. But I would miss all of you so much!

I had originally intended to come back and make some new art as soon as I had more time to work on it. Working on getting my website back up and running so I can many sell some things for Christmas. I guess I have 21 days to think about it now.

I am not really back! I had promised my sweet friend to feature the winners of her contest in a journal entry, so I'm just on for a few to do that.

Still not feeling up to par, a lot of financial problems going on. Struggling to survive and hopefully sell some beadwork to help out with groceries.

I do check in on messages and comments every couple of weeks. Just can't get to all the journals and deviations - they make my head swim.
