GRR! I just wrote out this entire journal and hit one wrong key and whoopsie! All gone! Ok here’s my 2nd attempt!

I wanted to bring to your attention that starting May 12th is Fibromyalgia (or FMS) Awareness week. I’ve been suffering from this chronic disease/illness for the past three years now. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It has changed my life drastically and the lives of my family who I now have to rely on to help me.

What IS Fibromyalgia?

Please take just a few minutes to read about this insidious disease. So many women have it, so many women don't even know they have it. And so many people think because they can't see anything wrong with us, that there IS nothing wrong with us.

Well it appears that my oldest has finally procured himself a job as a driver for Pizza Hut. At least it is a job and he'll get tips. So I don't have to be OGRE mom after all! I've been under such terrible pressure and stress lately and on Mother's Day found out my auntie Bertha passed away. Also found out that my Daddy isn't doing so well, although it appears his cancer is still in remission. But the tumor on his spine is causing him extreme pain and it looks like he'll be having surgery in a few weeks. My heart breaks that I don't have the money to get down there this summer.

I am tickled to death to have joined creative team for her new website, Mellow Butterfly . I love scrapbooking and creating art, crafts, jewelry, etc. This is one of the highlights of my weeks now to be able to have an outlet for creation! Thank you so much Michelle!

I want to wish all the Mom's, Grandmas, & Moms-to-Be a very belated HAPPY MOTHER'S Day. My oldest brought me some pink roses and breakfast in bed (although I had to work all day); both boys cleaned some of the house; my youngest brought me a Blizzard from Dairy Queen - a Heath Bar Blizzard - yummm...drool! So I felt very lucky (until I got work about my auntie).

I've started playing Final Fantasy XI Online just a bit here and there. 4 months away was definitely needed. Thankfully, I have a very dear friend who's paying for my account right now and I hope at some point after summer again.

I've been a little let-down about contests lately, that two that I thought I had a really good chance at - I didn't even place in the top 10. So I'm a bit put off about entering anymore contests for awhile and will just work on my 100-Theme challenge and on pictures I want to create.
